If you have been looking for a weekend full of excitement, creativity, and a little bit of pop-culture magic, mark your calendars. Spa-Con is returning to the Hot Springs Convention Center on May 16th and 17th, and it is shaping up to be another incredible year for our community.

Whether you are a die-hard fan of comics, anime, and sci-fi, or just someone who loves checking out unique local events, there is something at this convention for everyone to enjoy.

One of the best parts of the weekend is the opportunity to meet celebrity guests. You can get up close for Q&A panels, autographs, and photo ops, which is a fantastic chance to hear stories from the voices and faces behind your favorite shows and games. If you prefer to shop, the exhibit hall is the perfect place to hunt for one-of-a-kind art, comics, collectibles, and apparel that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

The atmosphere is truly electric, especially when you see the community’s creativity on full display. The cosplay is always next-level, and even if you are not dressing up yourself, the contests are an absolute blast to watch. Beyond the costumes and shopping, there is plenty of hands-on fun to keep you busy, ranging from tabletop gaming tournaments to high-energy video game stations and even laser tag.

The event runs on Saturday, May 16, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, May 17, from 11 AM to 5 PM at the Convention Center right here in the heart of Hot Springs. You can save a little money by grabbing your tickets in advance on the official Spa-Con website. Weekend passes are a great value at $40, or you can pick up a single-day ticket for $25. It is also a very family-friendly environment, so if you are planning an outing with the kids, remember that children 10 and under get in free with a paid adult admission.
